Ricky Staffieri is a creative producer and director whose body of work transcends genres, formats, and media. Growing up in an Italian-American household in Las Vegas, his exposure to gaudy art, Louis Prima, and dingy strip malls formed a vigorous creative sense that reveals itself in his work.
After receiving his BFA from Columbia College Chicago he continued working in the storefront theatre world which forged a deep understanding of storytelling, performance, and the psychology of using minimal resources to create high concept content. Since moving to Los Angeles Ricky has been creating original short films that have gone to festivals all over the country, worked with networks such as NBC, AMC, and FX amongst others. His short film work has won awards for best Dark Comedy at Indie Short Fest - Los Angeles Int'l Film Festival and has been an official selection at other festivals on the circuit.
From directing music videos, documentaries, narrative films, and commercials to developing captivating new scripts with his circle of creatives, Ricky enjoys the frequency with which he can experiment with different styles and techniques across many pieces of work to edify his voice as a creator.
